French available for pre-order

Griffin are now completing the final production moulds for the French legere. They should be ready for this week coming. To save a bit of time we are going to release the first 2 packs. That is firing and loading then advancing. At the same time the line voltigeurs are now being completed. Command for both sets will follow ASAP.

The first of the British line are now being worked on by Richard. Line light company skirmishing. This is a bit of a change of plan, but it does allow the maximum number of troops to get out quickly. But the releases are meant to complement the "Sharp Practice" rules and the "Complete Fondler" scenario books from Too Fatlardies.

Legere voltigeurs are available for pre-order at the moment.

Nearly there

Hi Frank,

After my long rest!!! the figures are with Griffin, then a quick conversion to make up the command by Richard and then release.

Friday 29 August 2008

I've now got a much longer plume.

Re the greens, Richard has lengthened all the shako plumes and where shako covers are absent the full cords have been attached.

As per availability I'm looking at October as we will be away on out travels throughout September. in the meantime the command will be prepared.

The back pack and canteen decals for the 95th and 60th are done. Just a few tweaks and I'll get a photo up on here. They look fantastic and really make the figure.

Thanks to you all for the very helpful suggestions. I will be taking note of these. Richard and I are meeting up next week and the final designs will be agreed. Dom Skelton has done the transfers and is sending me some samples.

I'll post here with the final results.

I'm also putting up a set of figures from Carl Robson of Raven Painting

French wants

Work is now beginning on the French lights, but before we settle the final designs we would really like to know what you guys would like to see. Do you want full dress, campaign, shako covers on or off etc? How about a greatcoated version as well?

We are even working on providing transfers for British water bottles and back packs, I hate painting that arrow and regimental number!!
